busy listening and active listening

description: we learnt 3 listening skills and they are called busy listening, me too and active listening. We made a video called busy listening & active listening. Go check the video out on youtube. busy listening and active listening are on the video and explaining it. So I will explain me too. What me too is is that someone talks about something to you and then you interupt them and talk about similar thing that had happened. We only had 30 minutes to do this video and the video had to be 30 seconds or less. The people that joined me is Toby and Renae talking mad me recording. Here is the video. :)

Feedback/Feedfordward: I like the way that your were using text so I can understand.
Next time you should go in a quiet place because it was kind of hard to hear. Shaiv

Evaluation: I'm pretty sure that we did really good because it was very loud so we had to put a voice command in the movie that's why it was pretty loud. I think I am pretty good at active listening but I sue I can get a lot better.

Treaty of Waitangi Day Minecraft Maze

Description: We did something that shows facts about Waitangi Day. Their were a lot of options to choose from and there were like poster, movie, pic collage, puppet pals and lots lots more. I did something on minecraft and that something is called a simple maze. What it does is that the maze ask you a question and you have to answer the question and you have 2 options to choose from. We saw a video and we learnt from that video. This is the video.

Then we made a circle with 1 question which we chose. You might of seen it in another post go check it out. Then we come to this.

Big idea: Finding out all of the answers was probably the most difficult part of this project. I learned a lot about Waitangi I even researched where James Buzzbee use to live.

Feedback/Feedfordward: I like how you did your questions and if go inside the wrong one you went the wrong way. You could add more questions to the maze and make it hard for the other people.

Evaluation: I think I did well because I wanted to do a dropper but I probably dident have any time. so I thought of my 1 word and it is strive and then I want to do something. I haven't done in a long long time then I thought I could strive to do want I wanted to do in a long time. We have 5 options to choose from that shows how well we did this is what it looks like. I think I am multie because I added more than 3 questions but they weren't connected

Waitangi Day questions

Description: We have a task about Waitangi Day and the task is to do questions about Waitangi Day that we don't know the answers to. Waitangi Day was the day when New Zealand became a country. These are my questions.

What did the treaty say?
Why would the Europeans want to own our land?
How did the British know about New Zealand?
Why were the Europeans in their boat in the first place?
How did the Europeans find New Zealand?
How long did it take for the Europeans to go to New Zealand?
How long did the Europeans stay in New Zealand?

One word: Strive

WALT: to set goals

Description: This year we have a choice of 1 word which is basicly a goal for the year and I chose the word Strive. I chose Strive because my goal for 2016 is to be in the A-team for basketball and A-team for summer soccer and other stuff to. I have only been in the B team and the C team for basketball and soccer so I want to be in the A team for both sports for my last year.
